Drying Hops

Hey guys, I know this subject was discussed sometime ago with mixed views. Am very new and have yet to do an all grain brew (still hoping to get all the kit together this year) but I did get donated some good hop plants from some lovely folks here last year.

When the time comes I want to be able to dry them without too much hassle and wondered if a good quality food dehydrator was a tried and tested method?  (then vacumn sealed bags stored in the freezer)

Any advice welcomed!
