Title: Craft beer pub recommendations for central London
Post by: Shanna on March 01, 2017, 10:01:50 AM
Hi there,

Going to a technology conference QConn in London next week (near Westminster) and I will be there for two nights. Would love to visit some places that serve quality craft beer. Anybody who could recommend somewhere near by (e.g. on foot) or reasonably close via the tube (less than 20 minutes or so) I would appreciate it.

Regards,

Shanna

If you don't mind tubing, then the Holborn Whippet (Sicilian Avenue, near the British Museum) is a great spot for good craft beer and you can stand outside in good weather.

Get the Craft Beer London app. It's a curated list of pubs that have solid beer credentials, and a good craft offering.

In Westminster your closest offerings are the Waterloo tap over the bridge, and perhaps cask pub and kitchen near Victoria. The harp bar just off Trafalgar Square is walkable and beyond that you have a few options in soho and Covent Garden like brewdog soho, craft beer co Covent Garden, the old coffee house, and some other option s like lowlander

The Porterhouse, Covent garden. One of the biggest pubs in London.
