Batch of muntons apa. Fermenting since 23rd Nov went to add finings today and saw this. Pretty sure that's a pellicle. Is there anything can be done or is it just for pouring down the drain??

Smell it. Taste it. Report back.

Is that your first batch Phil?

Phil.cork

No it's about my 4th maybe. First infected tastes quite sharp.

Sour sharp?
Bottle 1 without sugar and bring to the meet on 15th for analysis and discussion.
Theres loads elsewhere on forum about sanitation, have a snoop.
Consider sanitising in mild bleach solution.

1 week more in the fermenter won't make a huge difference.

It was more sour mil sharp taste with a really funny after taste. Came home to find my wife had helped by cleaning out the lot so gone now.
