Evenin all!
I acquired this kit today from the very kind CH and am "contract brewing" it :)
I even managed to get it into the FV today too seeing as the missus popped out for an hour with baby number 1 as baby number 2 slept soundly.
Heres the link to the actual kit - https://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/muntons-premium-gold-autumn-blush-36kg-p-682.html (https://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/muntons-premium-gold-autumn-blush-36kg-p-682.html)
Its different from any kit I've done so far because it has 2 cans and a sachet of yeast. Any other kit I've done has been a only 1 can, a sachet of yeast and either brewing sugar or a tin of Malt Extract.
It was easier (if it could get any easier) to brew than the other kits because all you do is warm the 2 tins, pour them into the FV, add a kettle of boiling water then top up to 17 litres. Oh, take a reading and pitch the yeast next of course.

She started bubbling away after 3 hours and is still popping away nicely.

I've got a question regarding priming this kit. On the box it says to use one teaspoon of sugar per 500ml bottle. I've got some brewing sugar left over from a previous kit and was wondering if it is ok to use a teaspoon of this sugar per 500ml bottle?

Hi Liam, sorry but I didnt prime this kit. The very good Ciderhead used gas to carb it for me.
I reckon your sugar should be good to use . . . presuming it hasnt be left open too long and allowed any nasties into it?
Thanks Fishjam45. The sugar should be fine. It was kept in an airtight bag since been opened a couple of weeks ago. I just wasn't sure if there was a difference between the sugar mentioned on the kit box for priming and brewing sugar I had left over.
Tried another bottle this evening.
As you can see it's clearing up nicely and the taste is still improving.
