Gotta love Aldi - they seem to have a new 'limited stock' brew every week - must be the supermarket equivalent of a 'rotating tap'  :)

This week I spotted Henney's Exhibition Cider for 2.99 euro (500ml). Didn't get a chance to pick any up, as I was in a rush, but just thought I'd give y'all a heads up.

I've had Henney's vintage cider before, and although it's only lightly carbonated it packs a really powerful punch of windfall apples. Here's the description from their website -

QuoteExhibition is a dry cider of the highest "exhibition" standard, and at 7.2% vol it is a strong and characterful addition to the Henney's cider family.

Late in the spring, when cider from the previous autumn has matured, cider makers exhibit their cider for judging in friendly competitions, and the new Exhibition cider represents Mike's entry into the coveted 'dry cider' class.

It is, in short, his selection of the best cider from the season.
