Second iteration of this recipe. Of note:
- 100g x 3 of BX. Added in a bag. This had defintely reduced the wort loss (several litres) that I got from the first batch with loose hops.
- White sugar instead of brown. There's a demerera sweetness that's (thankfully) not in this. Will stick to white (was only use demerara as it has more street cred).
- S-04 instead of US-05. S-04 definitely works!

Will be interesting to compare your 8087 to my 80186 brew

So far its the only time I've had to sparge my hops!!

Mines now in secondary - must check the numbers tomorrow

Is this a modified recipe of the 'blackcurrant' flavoured beer you had at the LB meet a few months back? Looks like it's higher IBU and ABV?

Those BX hops were very interesting. Should be a cracking beer.
