Title: Club Meetings/membership
Post by: steve71ni on June 17, 2015, 11:22:46 AM
Hi folks.   I am based in Belfast and I've been in and out fo the hobby for a few years.  Been back at it recently and up to my 5th AG brew of the year.  Are there regular meetings for the Belfast Homebrewers, are there club dues or what way does the membership work?  I have the main subs set up for the HBC.

cheers,
steve.

Steve, perfect place to be from and great your back in the game. Bazza normally has an agenda set out for every meeting that usually starts with introductions and then falls by the wayside. Meetings are free and if you have a recent brew it's nice to bring for feedback. Varying degrees of expertise there from novice to hardcore brewer. Generally bimonthly but we lose our way at times and it's normally when it's suggested. So with that in mind...when's the next meeting?

Hi steve71ni. Yeah as above and it's a great way to get involved with current events on the forum... Competitions and brew days etc.

How about a meet on Thursday 2nd July?

Hi steve71ni and welcome! Can't really add to what's already been said.  :)

What do you brew?

Hi,

I'm doing all grain.  I have a cream ale and an American IPA bottle conditioning and a Kolsch and a standard English pale ale in the fermenters.  I've a Wyeast Abbey II yeast in the fridge so planning a Chimay type clone soon.

So basically trying a bit of everything.

steve.
