I agree; it's an amazing mashtun.  In a category of it's own; nothing else is even close.

They even have an option for a heater pad to be put between the bottom two stainless layers to hold fermentation temps in definitely (can't support temp ramping).

They have a recirculation / sparge arm for it, too so you could HERMs/ RIMS with it.
It's pretty spectacular but it's got a pretty spectacular price and it's only available in one size right now.

If it would have existed 3 years ago I would've sold a whole bunch of crap so I could buy it rather than build my current mashtun which is essentially a homemade version of this.

You could go buy one of the Bergland insulated pots and built a ghetto approximation of this.

I did.  My mashtun is a Bergland insulated ghetto approximation.  See the recent post on the equipment forum.

Ciderhead, that's a thing of beauty!  I especially love the HERMS coil in the lid!

What do you use the mini one for? (Hop back?)

Its a 6Ltr bergland pot with a 3KW element regulating 4-5L of water and can step 1 Degree a minute.

OHH! So that's the vessel with the HERMS coil in the lid!  Nice. I considered going that route myself until I settled on a counterflow chiller as my HERMS HEX.  -I just knew my electricity in my garage couldn't deal with even a 1500 watt element as all my 120v circuits in the garage are all on a single circuit and I've got a chest freezer, glass door True commercial fridge and my garage door already running on that circuit.

P.S. I don't know how anyone could look at those pics and call ANYTHING in there "Ghetto".  DIY, yes; but BADASS!
