Brew radar went off again tonight so I'm checking into my hotel in Killarney and what's in the window of the function room!

Really disappointed in the Helles on Draught produced by Killarney brewing company (barman said it was coming in from UK until they are fully functioning in the town?)
To test the new BJCP judges it was a bar of soap which is .... it was mentioned on the forum a couple of weeks ago.
In stark contrast a pint of Torcs Wheat in town was amazing wit lovely fresh citrus, and at only 4.2 in this weather I had a few.
I'll give KBC another go when they have bedded in

Strange, I quite liked it and I'd never be a big helles fan. Didn't know it was made abroad though!
Stuck my head around the brewery door and lots of shiny, it looked up and running tbh.
I'm tuned into soap as I left one on primary trub last year way too long and ended out giving it away to pals, they loved it
My fellow GCB Brewers picked up a hint in a local meet of the beer that got gold Helles in the Nationals, but what do they know ;)
What's the story with the BM,are they brewing with it and is that the beer they made. :-\
I think the hotel had a go at a few bottles alright, it was a bit weird alright
Are they selling the beer or is it just for show. :)
The Beer in the window is the family name of the owners of the hotel and is some kind of contract brew as there was too much of it for sale in the hotel.
Hey on the plus side craft breweries kicking on in all parts of the country.
I have already seen a massive improvement in quality from some of those that started 2 years ago so in general as more players come to the fore everybody has to up their game which can only be good for us as consumers
