Several people last night mentioned having the next meet before the competition, and on a Saturday. So here ya go! This'll be an opportunity to get your competition beers appraised before the closing date for submission!
If you want to move it forward or backwards in the day, now is the time to shout, otherwise it's 2pm.
Ye thats on my Bday so I will be having a few beers that day anyway :D, will probably be able to pop in for a bit :)
Great idea, unfortunately I won't make it :(, wedding anniversary weekend, and will be supping in Oslo bar in salthill about then ;). I'll send my competition brews in with ColinC for reviewing tho.
By the way, happy birthday Rob, hope the lads buy you drink for your big day :D

If they last that long ;)
I'll be there alright.
just tried the wheat beer I am thinking of entering and although it is only 7 days in the bottle I find it nice ;D, lookin forward to seeing the other brews, always find it great to try other peoples beers. :)
No reason I will not be able to make this one!!! My brother in law has started to brew wine but is finding it hard to find a club like NHC. Anyone mind if I bring him along??? He will have homemade white wine obviously.
should be able to make this plus hope to have a pt or two.
only bottled my stout last night the 21st, would it be ok to sample on the 9th.
I am always interested in what the home brew wines would taste like as I would love to try brewing some for the missus :D also cut back on those 10 euro bottles ;)
I'm going to have to bow out of this - the missus booked a weekend away for that weekend. :(
Andbody fancy bringing a couple of mine & Is Mise's beers along to help us categorise them for the competition?
Might be time to start a list:
1. Tube
2. Blueshed

That was my plan yes. It sounds like the perfect time to drop off my beer too.
Was planning on heading to this, but I got my flights for work & have to be @ the airport for 3.
Have a good one
If you are heading to T2, you can have some porterhouse beers in the harvest cafe.
QuoteI'll let you know if I'm driving. I probably will, but if not I'll get the 66A from Confey. It doesn't sync with the train at all (as you would expect, this is Ireland) hence you'll get better service from the 66.
I came up with a better solution. I can walk to Blanch shopping centre and get the 239 to Lucan and then just walk to the county from there. Timetable is not the best for that route but there is one at 12:30 and 1:30 on Saturday so the 1:30 is probably the best one. Should get me there about 2 and then a little walk.

my lift collecting me around 6ish, will be able to have a few pts at this meet.
I shall only be staying around for an hour or 2 as I am off to the the Bull and Castle for dinner and more beer ;D :).

Will pretty much any 66/67 do the trick or are there ones I should avoid because they go around the world?
Or are there different busses that are better?
yes all 66's and 67's will stop out side the LC
Sorry I couldn't make it folks,on salthill, had a quick tour of Oslo brewery, compact, expansion plans etc.tasty range of beers, I'd recommend d full sail ipa, delish ..still. sampling... :D
Thanks for having me lads, a great day out!
Thanks to the lads for escorting me home!
I stayed a bit later then the last train....
was a great day lads, some very nice beers and good craic all round :), looking forward to the next meet, thanks Tube for the bday wishes. Did anyone try the IPA I left with John (Blueshed)??
Really enjoyed it - great gig
I got talking to someone about and RO system - really interested - I think it was BenMurph - Any chance you could post where you got that ?
Also talking to a lad about Dunkels - and what was the missing ingredient - its CaraMunich !
I bought some Carafra Special II and Cara-munich - will give that a go with some WLP300
Good Stuff

was a great meet and the quality of the beers just gets better.
enjoyed the ipa from stitch, the first beer of the day from bren and one of tube's beers were all great but the beer of the day for me was the stout for Saruman.
