Post by: ronniedeb on July 10, 2015, 10:21:20 AM
Looks like Willingham Nurseries is up for sale if anyone is interested! ;D
I placed a pre-order with them for some Cascade plants this year, but they couldnt fulfill the order. Got this link in an email from them yesterday:

I just hope someone buys the lot and keeps it going. Impressed by the micro-propagation backup!

Good news iv plans for next summer .might be an idea to have our own gene bank , ie a list of who is growing what hops , and can send out plants/rhyzomes to others .

That's a great idea as there is always lots of back and forth but no real co-ordination!

I've yet to have a beer I really enjoyed that was made from Irish Hops, there I've said it, CH runs dodging glasses

I think they will all grow, but the resulting cones may have different profile than the same hop grown in a different climate.
