Title: July meet up

So we are close to the summer session comp, do you want to judge the beers on the night of the july meet up or have the meet up as normal and have another one just for the comp between then and the finals.
If you have something to enter but cant make the judging day we can arrange getting it off you before hand
assume the meet up is on the 29th

I have a beer for the comp but can't make the meet on the 29th, so would be great to have the judging night later. If not no worries I'll try and get the entry to someone who will be at the meet on the 29th.

What time do you meet until. I work until 21.00 myself but would like to start going to the meet ups. Would that be too late?

Its not too late, you might miss some of the beers, usually there is some left over though.

On mature reflection, maybe I'd better not come to this. It's SWMBO's birthday, and although she's told me she doesn't mind me going along, I bet she really does. Thanks to Glasbrew for showing me how a woman's mind works....  ;D

So you have the doubtful delights of Desperadoes to look forward to another time. And how do I get my entry for the Summer Beer compo in?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fischer_Brewery: "Desperados' listed ingredients are water, malted barley, glucose syrup, corn, sugar, aromatic compounds (75% Tequila), citric acid, and hop extract."

Why would you want to recreate this abomination!?

...I hate turning up empty-handed.

Last time I was in the US I got a new/recently released hop variety pack from Yakima Valley Hops.

There for the asking are:
Lemon Drop (AA: 4.4%) - Lemon, orange, grapefruit, citrus, blackberry, super cascade, menthol, pine, licorice, peppermint,
Azacca (AA: 10.3%) - Fresh citrus, orange, grapefruit, lemon, piney, spicy, pineapple, tropical fruit
Equinox (AA: 14.5%) - Lemon, lime, papayas, apples, cherries, mango, green pepper, citrus, pine
Pekko (AA: 15.4%) - Clean, Pleasant, floral, citrus, mint, herbal, mellow, pineapple, thyme, Saaz-like cucumber, sage, touch of lemon
Jarrylo (AA: 14.8 %) - Pear, orange, spicy, fruity

All are 2oz samples, pellets, 2014 harvest. Throw your name down if you're interested.

Also, if you entered American Ale #5 into the Garden County comp, I have your scoresheet from that messy meetup in 57 Headline.

I think you'd be better off keeping them for yourself SlugTrap but if you insist I'll turn some Azacca into beer and keep you a bottle  :)
