Title: Wild Bat
Post by: St. Fursey on July 18, 2015, 09:23:23 PM
After months of planning and working away below the radar, I'm happy to announce that muself and Barry (barkar) have launched our brewery Wild Bat is located in Oughterard, Co. Galway. We released our first beer Pilot 001 Cal Common a couple of weeks ago. It's availavle on a number of rotation taps; mainly around Dublin and the South East.
If any full members are in the west and would like to swing by for a chat, send me a PM and we'll try to make it happen!

Doubtful in the short term. The logistics of having the required connections and minimum direct sale volumes are areas we haven't begun to look into yet. We will point you in the direction of a pub selling our wares though

Well done guys and I look forward to trying it when I am in Galway next. Are your beers on sale in Galway city in a few pubs?

As it happens we're launching pilot 001 in The Salthouse tomorrow. Most beer from the first two batches went to the East but we hope to get in to a few more Galway pubs soon

Congrats! Where in the South East?

EDIT: Found out - World Wide Wines, Dunmore Rd.
This confused me a little - are you available in bottles then?

Hi Bart. We're  not doing bottles yet.  I believe  World Wide Wines has a growler filling station though
