Title: Quick question re max lid size on keggle
Post by: Sorcerers Apprentice on July 21, 2015, 09:48:29 PM
I'm in Spain at the moment and went to a Chinese Wholesalers, they have stainless lids for Paella pans in all sorts of sizes at about €3:50 each !! Would any kind member with a keggle please measure the maximum size lid I could fit onto the top ie the inside diameter of the rim with the handles?
Many thanks

I think they're 16" in diameter, so less the skirt, you'll probably get 14" in at most.

That's what she said, etc.

Thanks Tom, I thought from memory that I had cut out 35 cm diameter holes which would tie in with your 14" estimate but they also have 40 cm lids ( 15.75" ) and I'm not sure if they would fit, they might be a tight, she may have also said that !!

Hi Rory
Just measured a "G" keg. 350mm inside rim to rim. That keg is 10yrs old, don't suppose they've changed.
