Won't be able to make it.

Rob as you won't be distracted will you chair it?
Thankfully my work load has died down so will have a bit more time available. Would be glad to chair this one.

1 week to go lads I may start a list of what is being brought ;D
1. Robrew- American Pale Ale
1. Robrew- American Pale Ale
2. delzep - Dry stout (BJCP category 13a)...only a maybe at this stage though
Might it be a good idea to list all the beers and their BJCP category so tasters can do a bit of reading up on each style maybe the day before the tasting so more accurate feedback can be given?

Mobile versions are handy to have while in the pub
I should have my IHP2013 beer. A recreation of a Burton pale ale from the 1870's known as Truman's #4

;DNice one Shane, delighted to hear that
nut brown ale was a bit of a flop, no surprise there :( but I'll bring a bottle along anyways
..
I have 2 packets of Mauribrew Lager 497 and 2 packets of Mauribrew Weiss yeast that I can give to someone on Saturday if they want. I don't think I'll ever use them and it would be a shame to waste them

4. Stitch - Mooching
5. Tube - possibly some fresh pils.
6. IsMise - Nut Brown Ale
Just tidying up....gonna be a quiet one by the looks of things :-[
Does mean a good chance of winning a kit though even if your Grand National pick is a stinker :D
Hope to make this one but will have to be a quick pint. Will have one of the kids with me anyway.
Are Saturday tastings usually quieter than Thursday (in terms of bodies there)
Not sure I can make this one now. Have a good one ;)
Ha, just noticed autocorrect changed my name to Truman... fixed ;D

3. Saruman #4 recreation for IHP2013

Delzep's stout, one to rival my own was the consensus.
Lovely..... Could have had it all night.
Whats the twitter name shane?
Is there such thing as a loser in a stout off if they both taste good? ;D
Nice dark lager/pils tube hit the spot
Shane, will you update the twitter directory now that LiffeyBrewers is back?
Also it would be nice to have a sticky in each club forum listing all members who are on twitter.
Another great day at yeasterday's Liffey Valley meetup; smaller number than usual, but quality tastings; top of the class must go to Delzep for a really delish rich, chewy stout (very protective of the recipe tho, watch out for that in the 2014 comp!); Tubes dark lager was another pleasant surprise; and Saruman's "Recreation" also very tasty; and indeed Robrew's hoppy APA was another example of how good hacked kits can be. ;)
A highlight for me was getting presented with my Beersmith Voucher, thank you Brad Smith, looking forward to progressing on and putting it to good use
Thanks again to our great host Gerry, a true gentleman. Oh, and thanks Shane for the hop rhizome, i have a soft spot for that... in a south-facing position in the back garden
;D
Is Mise,
Secret ingredient is dipping me dog in the cooled wort 8-)
Note to diary avoid LB Meets they put cheese in their beer ;)
Speaking of Cheese in Beer...
I was treated to lunch out on Friday and had a Beef Salad with Roquefort cheese, very nice.
Later on, in the Well, Mr Happy produced a Belgian which on the nose, I thought there was a note of cheese and specifically Roquefort.
Lo and behold, the yeast was Roquefort.
The Beer... Lovely!

Dunno about there being a loser, but there is always a clear winner... The drinker!!
