Title: What ya brewin?
Post by: Quiet_Man on July 27, 2015, 10:44:25 PM
Come on Belfast - what ya at?

Who is secretly reading the Reinheitsgebot in their finest Lederhosen, preparing for the Liffey comp?

Who is perfecting their best Timothy Taylor Landlord for the Belfast comp?

Who is turning sour?

Just trying to get some dialogue going.

Belfast Homebrewers are a very shy breed.

I'm bottling my Gose and Berliner Weisse beers this evening. Did my first 5 gallon AG last week which is bubbling away nicely (Sierra Nevada clone). Going to do a one gallon rye beer this week and maybe finally get the 5 gallon sour saison started.

Good man Robotmonkey. Seem to be covering all bases there.

Planning to brew a Rye beer tonight myself.

Have all the ingredients sitting ready for a black IPA.  Not sure when brew day will be yet.

Have a Flanders Red conditioning on oak chips, a Flanders Pale fermenting and a Pale Ale with NZ Rakau hops for kegging/bottling next week.

Been splitting my brewdays/nights to a mash/sparge Saturday evening and the boil the following morning. It's been much easier fitting in around the wee one's sleeping pattern so hopefully the beers turn out ok!

Have a keg of New Deck Flyer in the fridge on the garage ready for when my self generated hiatus from the old drink finishes. Won't stop me brewing though. Managed to pick up The Grainfather from

http://www.geterbrewed.com/the-grainfather-the-grain-father-all-in-1-brewing-system/

Intend to give it a debut next week so I'll let you know how it goes.
