Hi Folks,
I would like to try and hack an IPA kit to aim for something like - http://www.shepherdneame.co.uk/brands/ales/india-pale-ale . I quite like this one.
The blurb on the back mentions fuggles....... apart from that I have no clue!
Was thinking of a Coopers IPA kit, and maybe some DME on a boil with the fuggles, or some dryhopping, or a bit of both.
Any ideas or recommendations for a good IPA kit hack let me know.
as an aside I also really liked the Craft range IPA kit.
Cheers all.
Oink
Just do a bit of googling to find a few clone recipes, then add any speciality grain and hop additions. Ignore the bittering hops.
Eg: by the recipe below you should be good with some caramel and then EKG at 15min, 1 min, dryhop.
