How does this suit people? A break from the usual Thursday.
I should have plenty of hop rhizomes for anyone who has somewhere to grow them (don't ask if you don't!). Challenger, Fuggles, and (formerly East Kent) Goldings.
Should be good to go....will probably have a smoked ale ready by then. Might take a fuggles rhizome if thats ok.
Date suits me perfectly. 8-)
I'm in. I'll text Eugene that was there last month to see if he's about.
No write up lads what a pity ;D echo.. echo..echo... echo

Typical! Won't be able to make it. That's my last night at work. But I could drop off samples for my new club members to try when I drive past. Just have to know what time you all meet up
im available Wed 8th, Thur 9th and Sat 11th.
will have an IPA plus a Stout.
I should be able to make it... Hoping my stout isn't ruined due to hot side aeration...had to transfere to carboy hot.

Hey guys,
Working late tomorrow so won't make it sorry.
Is there a beer set for the June meet?
Could do a nice pale for it.
Got injured last night playing ball, so won't be able to make it tonight. :(
Nothing too bad, but it could do with some rest.
Gonna have to sit this one out too.. See you at the barrel filling
just checking is anyone going? dont want to drive all the way to find pub empty?
I'm going to stop over for an hour before work. Do you want me to bring in a beer or 2 for tasting?
I'll be there for a bit too, driving tho..

bonus Ill bring two lime beers!
What a great night getting to meet fellow club brewers. Pity about work, next time I hope to sample with you guys
Yip. Good beers (and cider) tasted last night. That strong one Dodge brought was f'ing outstanding.
Could have used a bottle of Blueshed cider this morning if I didn't have to go to work. :D
Who needs a barrell...........just steep ur figs in some whiskey and ferment the figs! Worst beer of the night seems to be the trouble Or after that probably the pilsner Urquell! Wel dun lads who brought beers, I particularly liked the belgian ale and the fig beer and Blueshed is doin well with his experiments! all nice beers last night except my Turf Beer :o

Would like to try that again in a few months if any left. The lime'd kit impressed. I may do a batch to enjoy when summer eventually comes.
the turf mellowed beyond recognition since its kegging 6 wks ago. Ive about 10 pints in keg, which I will bottle, prime and leave a month r 2 more, can taste at future event. Peter Bamforth suggests that a beer should be tasted slowley with multiple sips over a period of several minutes to all ow flavours to balance out. In the turf case Ive drand several pints on a few occasions and after a few minutes turf cant be tasted at al really it changes to malty and sweetness with a lingering bittersweet finish.
But as Colin says "holy jazus" turf not for me! Dats Y I gave him a bottle of LImey ;D

Ha!! T'was a bit much for me to be honest! ??? Tasted a bit like drinking from a can that someone used as an ash tray at a party....Definitely an accuired taste!
But the lime wheat beer was brilliant - thanks for the bottle Bren - it will be enjoyed tonight!!
And anyone interested the Make Your Own Beer kits are short-dated & going for pretty much nothing in the Home Brew Company.
The Mild is €6.96 & the Wheat Beer is €7.66.

Less than €7 for a 1.8kg kit...get on it!!!!
Yes indeed, tastings improving at Liffey Brewers meet-ups, well done all contributers twas a pleasure being there. Hats off to Dodge's "tropical stew", very well balanced beer, alcohol well hidden, and beautiful flavours... Blueshed's cider was lovely, (and thanks for d bottle john), brenmurphs limey wheat ditto, but d turf beer, definitely an acquired taste.... I would drnk it again, maybe delzep might bring along his smokey ale to d next meet?

Two lime brews. De 1st one had a whole lime wit a few nics in de skin in primare for bout 4 days. The second one we tasted was two quarters of lime in 15 litres 4 days
Cool. Thanks Brendan :D
