Title: Sight glass - lenght for keggle
Post by: Kevin O'Roundwood on July 31, 2015, 01:26:56 PM
Hi lads and lassies,

Quick question.

Still (slowly) getting my keggle together. Came across the weldless sightglasses on https://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/weldless-sight-gauge-16-inch-with-12-inch-npt-fittings-p-2959.html. There's two lenghts - 16" and 11". Not having actually carried out a boil in my keggle yet I'm not sure how high the level will get. Am I better off getting the 16" one (which would go to the very top of the keggle) or would the 11" suffice dye reckon?

I know I could fill the keggle and see how high the level would get but if I'm doing a BIAB eventually I don't know....actually I think I just answered my question.... 16" would make more sense wouldn't it...?  :-\

I also need to learn how to spell lenght proper...
