Title: Impressed
Post by: Oh Crap on July 31, 2015, 02:36:01 PM
Was in Simon lamberts yesterday evening... Had the pale ale, summer ale, lager and chieftain IPA (France well)
Derek(I think) the barman is the type you need selling beer, everybody who ordered a hino etc was given a sample of their own lager. He also gave me a sample of anything I inquired about... I basically drank the menu ;-) Their yellowbelly pale ale was the winner for me, a sessionable beer that had enough hoppy flavour that left you wanting more. Plenty in offer for all tastes, they were putting the summer ale on cask today and dry hopping it aswell. I'll try and get in before I leave.. Well done lads.

He was brewing the summer ale  last night, didn't want to bother him while working but serious beers and knowledgeable staff even herself was impressed with their malibu and coke :)
