Title: Where to go pinting
Post by: helmet on August 02, 2015, 06:16:04 PM
Heading for a bit of camping tomorrow. We'll be in Strandhill in Sligo for a few nights, Westport for a few and then Achill to round off the week.
Any suggestions about what pubs to give my money to?

Beoirfinder is a great way of finding craft pubs

Yeah, I had a gander on that earlier, was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

Was in the Dunes at Xmas. Had a mountain man green bullet tap & a few Fran Well taps as well. Sligo town has a good few bars well worth checking out

Dunes it is! Now, just have to hope the tent doesn't get blown away while we're in there.

Wound up in the Draft House beside the campsite (new enough I think). 11 craft taps and a geansaĆ-load of bottles. I opted for the Session IPA from the White Hag rotation tap. We landed on our feet here!

Was just about to recommend draft house. I was there over the weekend and that place has just opened, a great addition to the area. The selection is great, the food was grand. Hopefully it gets the business now!
