Post by: MUL-BRU on August 20, 2015, 02:10:01 PM
Hi all,
I am looking for a Substitute for Midnight Wheat grain.
I am going to try the "Darth Weizer" Coopers recipe. Its a Dunkel
This is the recipe:
1 x 1.7kg Thomas Coopers Wheat Beer
1 x 1.5kg Thomas Coopers Wheat Malt Extract
300g Crystal Wheat grain
200g Midnight Wheat grain

As usual any / all feedback is appreciated.

You're only using a small percentage so any lighter roasted malt will work fine.

Some pale chocolate, dehusked carafa or even regular chocolate malt. Just check the EBC first.
