Title: any spare fittings going?
Post by: Codonohoe on August 25, 2015, 11:14:37 AM
Hey guys,

Hope its ok to post this here. Quick question, i have just set up my kegging system and kegged my first batch but i´m having trouble connecting my gas line due to different sized fitting. Would anyone have a spare john guest disconnect fitting they´d be willing to sell at tomorrows meet up.
Its a 3/8 to 1/4 fitting needed which will attach to my gas disconnect

Cheers
Colm

Would jubilee clips not be an temp alternative if you can't get sorted?

I had tried that, but because the barb on my disconnect was too small it did not make a good connection even with the clip. It was enough to purge the headspace but i would´t be comfortable turning the pressure up on it.

Heat it and stretch it?
