Title: Home Brew Demo in the Rugby Club
Post by: Will_D on August 27, 2015, 11:05:27 AM
So its agreed to have a brewday on Saturday October the 3rd as part of the NHC's "National Homebrew Week"

In true NCB style we will set the bar high for this:

I have booked the rugby club for the day from 09:30

Format for the day:

We have a nice covered area for brewing:

Brew demos of all the styles ( AG: Gas/Electric/Brewmeister. Extract and importantly Kit with LME/DME + all the tweaks

Club is now selling O'Haras craft beers

We can do a private BBQ (ingredients from club funds ??)

Hopefully we get some sponsors on board for a raffle/kits.

Club will push this out to their mailing list (500+ peeps) and also the local shops and offys.

THIS COULD BE HUGH!

What else would expect from the NCB?

Logistsics:

We need some leaflets/flyers for local PR in the couple of pubs/shops and offies in the Malahide/Swords area (About a week before the 3rd)

We need to hit some sponsors/breweries for support

Finally on the day we need people to bring the kit and caboodle.

So here is a signup list:

Artwork/flyers/poster:

Sponsorships:

AG Gas:

AG: Grainfather: Will_D with the grainfather

AG: Braumeister:

Extract:

Kit & Kilo:

BBQ: 1 or 2 more peeps?

What about the display we did inside with all the tech stuff - worth it or not?

Also giving out samples?

If you are brewing then its like 9:30, if not more like 11 but we need to get the coolers going. Mark can't make it till 3 but he could drop the cooler over to me tomorrow.

Can you confirm you are brewing and talk to Mark re. his cooler.?
