Folks, I committed to suppling beer for a gathering this Fri. 100l of a simple pale ale. Through the jigs and the reels its probably will be just about ready for for transfer on Fri. The request was for bottles rather than kegs.
My thoughts are to force carbonate in kegs and bottle via a blichman beer gun on Fri morning (hopefully) ready for drinking Fri night.
Will this work?? I know it won't be clear. Any / all advice welcome.
Thanks
You're cutting that very fine, but a promise is a promise and if you don't do it there'll be no beer.
So get the beer as cold as you can and try this, then bottle.
You're gonna have problems though, most likely with foam.

Thanks for that, will definitely have to force carbonate but I'm worried that once it's bottled it will lose the carbonation as it's taken off the gas
Ah jaysus ok take a reading if it's finished or close transfer to kegs today leave as much trub as you can behind
whack it up to X bar (where x is large and positive)and put in a fridge
More will fall out and you may have to roll kegs Friday morning to finish carbonation
Then upright for a few hours pour the first 500ml away and bottle, you may still have some fluff in the bottle and inform your guests about gentle pours and craft products etc ;)
Brillant that's folks for the help. I'll finish the dry hop in the keg.
Oh rollicks missed that bit! Sanitised weighed down tights tied with catgut and retrievable through lid or easier filter over the end of the dip tube

Good idea with the tie off. I have a coouple of those s/s tea balls that work a treat as the sink straight away.
