I have some left over cast iron pipe sections that I used to make a tower for a kegerator sytem recently. The sections are about 1.0m and 0.7m in length and are proper cast iron, about 50-60 years old I reckon so they weld well. Below are a few photos of the pipe itself and some photos of the after shot for some creative inspiration!
If you wanted to make a tower out of this you'll need to be able to weld or have a welder friend to make a plate at the top and bottom. You'd also need some kind of head for it (I had the outlet section of the downpipe for mine).
Can be collected from Naas/Newbridge or Dundum depending on the time/day of the week.
