Pardon my ignorance, but who's the White Hag and why would we want her at our taps?
on my way home ,you lads are in for a treat tonight poped into bradleys to pick up some esentials and try some of the white hag beers , the imperial stout is nice , good hit of warmth with a bit of stickyness and lots and lots of coffee.......the session ipa is a smash, mci malt and maosic hops nice , i could see myself having a good few of them ......
had lunch in the linen weaver ,2 pints of adnams ghost ship ipa and a philly cheese steak (with chips and onion rings) for €9.99 ........beer was lovely to be fair , food .........well what do you expect for a fiver .....it was okish ,i didnt complain ,i will give it another go during the week
@Skibeagle, having meet her, I think you would let her at your taps any day!
The Linen Weaver sounds like any other Wetherspoons then, exactly what they want to hear.
@johnrm i sopose it would be grand for a few pints or quickly meeting someone , not realy a pub for a quite afternoon pint and a read of the paper ,you have to sign up to some site to get wifi in there too . watching them pulling glasses of wine was strange .it has its place in the market and at €2.50 for a nice ale i welcome it ,the price diffrence with dublin is a bit of a let down but it is what it is .
