Title: Carbonation
Post by: auralabuse on October 01, 2015, 08:24:03 PM
I have been using carbonation drops for years but want to batch prime for the first time. I'm priming 15 litres of red ale to about 2.5 but using dark muscovado sugar. The calculator says 90grams of corn sugar. Any ideas if this would be roughly the same for the muscovado?, it seems on the low side

I say it would be a small bit more muscovado sugar than corn sugar. Maybe 5% more or thereabouts.

Ok, was thinking that, I use it in coffee and always need a bit more. Have a little tester bottle done now just for research purposes 😋
