Its not as good as the Guinness HP sauce they had a few years back... 😢

Probably the first time in a long time that Guinness has been discribed as a bit biter.

Thought about buying it, but saw that the first ingredient was sugar, so didn't bother. Might be good as a glazing, perhaps. Am I missing anything?

I think you will find a lot of bottled sauce has big sugar content so nothing odd about that.

I'm wondering how long I would need to boil my FES or stout to get to a reduction

Agreed, Dempsey. It's still horrible, though. Must be why I don't buy much bottled sauce.
