Title: Your favorite Irish IPA?
Post by: LordEoin on October 08, 2015, 09:23:38 PM
I'm loving Bo Bristle's 'Bristle IPA' it's just got a lovely balance of everything.
But then there's Black's Black IPA, which i love too.
And 9 White Deer! yummy.

What's your favorite Irish IPA?

I had some of the freshest of foam and fury from the fermenter today, was really nice and hoppy. I liked the bo bristle as well and now Tesco stock it and Black's beers I'm happier. I still think the full irish is my favourite.

Foam Of Fury or  8 Degrees Hurricane.

I've not tried Hurricane, thanks. Time to revisit 8 degrees  ;D
Of foam and fury is great alright, but I find double IPAs a bit heavy.

Picked up a case of this at the weekend. Maybe it's just me, but I thought my Young's American IPA turned out VERY similar to it.

Marzen Scorsese. God damn it that is a brilliant name.

8 Degrees Full Irish and Hurricane rule for me, esp. when you get them fresh on tap in the Bierhaus.

Cheers man  :) was in doolin for the festival and tried a 8 degrees on tap and it had the most distinct hop flavour I've ever tasted, very unique. Must get down to cork soon for a session great beer in a great city.

I love Black Bucket and I love some Rocketship. I find that the Irish IPAs are generally better in keg than bottle
