I've see them on done deal in the 30-50 range which have all been "donated" by bars and the like if that helps, are you looking for a branded or unbranded one and do you have a budget?

Unbranded or branded: Don't mind really but it has to go on my kegerator fridge door.

Budget: As cheap as possible to get a good quality tap.  :D

Hi Johnny,

Did you have any luck with this?  I've been on the hunt for a while but seem to keep missing them.  If you've any suggestions please let me know!
Thanks
Keith

Hi Keith,

I ended up caving and buying a tap from Aliexpress.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Stainless-Stout-Tap-with-Cremer-Aerator-for-home-brew/32417244957.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.1.bNVwGo&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_7_79_78_77_80,searchweb201644_5,searchweb201560_8

I will say that it is a beautiful tap and it certainly looks the business anyway. I received it about a week ago but I haven't used it yet. They claim it's stainless steel but sure only time will tell, I might end up with haemochromatosis yet.

Thanks Johnnycheech. I might follow your lead on that one!

How is the aliexpress tap pouring in the end? Work out well or are there issues?

I went to hook it up the other day but the John Guest on the mixed gas reg is too small for my 3/8 gas tubing so I'll have to get my hands on another fitting or reducer?????? I have a few other beers tapped so that probably explains my lack of urgency.

You can get an adapter easily or just switch out the connector, think the one cara sold you was 5/16

Do you know where to buy the JGs that screw onto the shank of a tap? I can't find them on any of the HB sites.

I got all my fittings from http://www.stonehelm.co.uk/Equipment/BeerLineandFittings  and used a parcel motel address to get them delivered, as they only post to uk addresses.

Bumping this thread if anyone sources a nice shiny stainless and black plastic stout tap, as I want to add one to the new kegerator that matches the setup. The aliexpress link is sold out unfortunately.

Can you convert a standard tap to a stout tap just with a new nozzle?
