Title: Co2 distributor/manifold/splitter
Post by: craiclad on October 12, 2015, 06:09:38 PM
After a grueling three months of problems, I finally thought I had my keezer up and running... Until I came home to find an empty Co2 tank.
As it turns out, my 3 way distributor leaks like a broken condom. Anyone know a handy place to pick one of these bad boys up? Seems like thehomebrewcompany is out of stock, I can't find anything reasonable from the UK sites, and I have no clue what I should be searching for on aliexpress.

What would one of you folks do in my situation?

I got mine from brewuk, but have you isolated where the leak is? It might just be a case of new plumbers tape.

The thing leaks in multiple places... Out of the nuts, out of the connections between the plastic and the metal, and a couple of other places that are hard to describe. Not huge hissing leaks mind you, but when I put it under water with some pressure in it, I can see a steady stream of bubbles coming from a few different parts.

If you have advice on how plumbers tape could help me though I'm all ears!

What are those called and where could I pick one up? If they're cheap and easy I'd much rather my €40 back to spend on grain to be honest!

I think it was about €8 from advance bar systems in ballymount. Ring to see if they have any more in stock and be aware they charge €10 delivery for any size parcel.

Any clue what that thing is called specifically? Can't find anything like it on their site.
