Title: Emergency Meetin
Post by: Will_D on October 15, 2015, 12:07:20 PM

I assume this is happening in Ireland?

Old Boro Fest?

As its a major rugby weekend may I suggest a Tuesday Meeting?

Actually they were selling quite a bit of Irish Craft, just seems a shame to be throwing that into you exciting and all as it is!

the last few festivals in spoons have been on over here as well. the beers rotate so if there is a perticular beer you want it may take a repeat visit or a trip to a different pub to find it.

Use UTC and ISO 8601. I have a habit of forcing all our clients to do that, or they can go take a running jump with their data :)

Met Dan the manager who was very interested in the NCB and would like to move forward with us!

Will keep you informed.

Anyways attached is their menu for the 2 weeks. Had a very nice American IPA which was not on the list. A lot of the stuff is in bottles.

See you all from 7 pm

Lets try to wear our NCB polos and use this as a bit of a recruiting night for the NHC and NCB

Btw: Have we got any decent buisness cards with the correct address and in a readable font. If not can someone knock out 20 or 30 or so?

Any more comming?

Great Beers and great value: 3 1/2 pint samplers for €2.50 cannot be bad.

Also we were all impressed by the sheer quality of the cellaring of the cask beers: Spot ON!

5 pints 13.50 was an interesting experience and its been a few years since I've done that
Beer quality was solid apart from 1 which was heavily smoked
Interesting business model and that was the discussion of the evening As McDonalds is to food Wetherspoons are to beer.
Similar presentation, bright lights 5 tills at counter, layout etc
Food was ok, yes just ok.
Not something personally I'd want to do every night but represents great value for money and if thats your driver this is the place
Interesting process for strip down and care of the taps all positive at the end of the night

Most importantly great to meet again the NCB'ers "West"  and talk shite about Beer, Cider, Bread and Bees.
