Looks identical to the ace mash tuns that you can get on ebay for 120 euro. Brewdorg on the forums here got one last week..looks goog quality
I know there are similar about, just bringing it to the attention of the masses.
Have you a link to the alternative so would-be owners can compare?
Copy my link above to the other thread, post here and I will remove this thread.
There are multiple sellers of this model http://www.ebay.ie/itm/NEW-homebrew-MASH-TUN-25l-fill-Boiler-Mashing-Grain-Brewing-Equipment-/390983101542?hash=item5b0868ac66:g:8LwAAOxycgVTiGBA
Not double lined that one though :(
Bergland pot or picnic cooler has best insulation properties but of course with the ones posted there you could just remove a basket or bag of grains and boil in that pot even if 30l max capacity is a bit on the low side
right you are CH about the lining. this one is though
same price spec etc http://www.ebay.ie/itm/NEW-30L-Stainless-Steel-Homebrew-Stockpot-Boil-Kettle-Mash-Tun-Hot-Liquor-Tank-/271826278773?hash=item3f4a1bd975:m:mNKJz4wpNV38eHfpvrGUUsw
I got one of those, great quality, no complaints at all. Boils 30 litres in about 20 mins
bet you could convert that into a mini grainfather as well ;)
Wow check the price on those now
I sincerely hope they made a mistake with that listing haha!
Hell of a deal if it were in yen ;)
I would say they are out of stock so they bumped up the price so no one would order...either that or there is something special about that one😉
Maybe people are actually paying that for them
Looks like Darren996 is right, they are out of stock on their own website

Bought one of these a while back and have done one BIAB brew in it. I had an issue with thermostat not allowing the temperature to go high enough for a rolling boil. I emailed ACE and they overnighted a replacement thermostat to me which was brilliant.
I actually sorted the issue myself though without replacing the thermostat. I popped off the bottom and moved the probe further away from the base and it works perfectly now.
It was absolutely perfect for my mash and held my temperature for the full hour with no issue. The double lining is the business. After just one brew, I'm absolutely delighted with it and would recommend it for BIAB.
Yeah I got one myself, have only used it as a hlt so far and the peco for the boil but thinking of investing in another one when they are back in stock for the boil.
Could you wire a raspberry pi yoke through it so you do step mashes I wonder? I was thinking about getting one just as a strike water heater, but wondering if it could be upgraded a bit. ACE are out of stock until the new year in the meantime.

Definitely could do that. The skirt is more than big enough to fit one in. I'm planning to put a REX C100 in mine but might look into the Raspberry Pi route too.
Why reinvent the wheel? Go down the ArdBir route.
Buy it online or build one, same cost as trying to start from scratch with a RaspPi, without having to write/source the code.

Yeah I should have said ArdBir as opposed to RapsPi!
