In case anyone has missed this, brewers meet-up Sat.
We'll be tasteing beers from 3 to 6 with a few pints before and after.
All welcome, with or without beer.
1. Spud (beer TBC)
I'll be along. No fierce strong ale this month :o but I'll have my wild hop pale (not great tbh) and maybe something home-smoked.
Looking forward to this
Not sure if I have anything to smoke at home :)
But I do have a mead and think I'll re visit that strange brown ale.

A 'strange' beer at a SE meet. That'll be a first!! :D
I hope to be there.
I have some Dunkel Weizen which i used to calibrate my new setup, i'll bring it for a laugh ;)
I also kegged some stout last sunday, probably a bit young but we'll see
I should be along - have no beers though - will be just bringing along my winning personality ;D
I'll have a proper porter brewed to style [smiley=engel017.gif]
I'll be there at 3ish today.
I should be getting the 1.25 bus so should be there some time after 2.30
I was in Revolution bar in July and the music was pounding and very dodgy. Do they hand out earplugs for your meetings?
Yep we had our own floor and even got to make a jug of fosters..... Kinda
We know the homebrew is gonna be dodgy, so jugs of Fosters is the safest way to get through the afternoon :o
In general the beer was pretty good, but as MAF says fosters was beer of choice for the day, I think there could even be a piccy somewhere :D
Yeah the jugs of fosters were flowing alright, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm (direction of flow might have been towards a sink)
Fosters. Paul Hogan. End of discussion.
Lager rules.
QuoteLads do ye not know that they're called pitchers of Fosters, not jugs. Honestly, such amateurs!
We all accept we are amateurs, and we are comfortable with that. That's probably one of the reasons we don't go looking for a couple of cents off a professionally-brewed pint :P
good crack alright - I think my two fav beers were Mafs Smokey Bacon Breakfast Beer !! and Dereks Porter
Yea there was some good beers, its also nice to be able to put a face to some of the names on here now :D

Another dark lager convert :D
Really great craic alright yesterday, solid beers as ever, and always great to have a new face. Welcome aboard rukkus!
Thanks. Looking forward to the next one :D
Yeah Mark not bad for a "lager".
Theres some real brewing talent in the SE alright and now we have an expert to explain the science bits the meet ups will be more informative ;)
Oh and welcome aboard Rukkus at least we didnt frighten you off
Cheers :) so are we going to put south east brewers on the back of our tshirts like some of the other clubs are suggesting?
Argh..ragin I missed this! Had bottled some of my Coatmeal porter for it as well! Didn't get back from Dubland in time to make it to Waterford!
Oh well, there is always next month! :)
