It's nearly january, so time to nail down a date. Are we sticking with 3rd saturday? That'd be the 19th.

And seriously, you need a new name. What's the name of that biker club in Waterford. Ah yes I remember.

So you could be:
Freewheelers Brewing Club?

Cheeky cnut!

The christening is on that day. I have been given permission to attend the meeting for an hour or so, without asking...... is this a trap?

What about Suirly Brewing Club?(http://www.surlybrewing.com/)

Pity it's not the Nore - we could've been the Norethern Brewers then...

Or even wheelBarrow Brewing Club!!

Oh the possibilities...   :D

Nope Suirly - cos of the river, no!?!? Or you could have "Suirly you can't be serious!?" Brewing Club - but IMO it's not got the same ring to it...

I was half deciding to go or not but with so many going, it would be rude not to go.

Metalman have their new beer in Geoffs so I might pop in there first to try one so should be there for 1:30 if any one is around

I am a bit iffy now but if I do get in I will head for Geoffs first.
If they had Garnet last weekend they weren't very up front about it. I asked for Alternator and the barmaid shook her head and just stood looking at me until I eventually said Pale Ale, then she just nodded and walked away to get it. The more I go in there the more I hate the present staff. They would be much happier if they replaced the customers with mirrors

first meet of the new year - and have to say it went quiet well, the usual suspects and a few new additions to the group, good to see Grainne &Tim from Metal Man again

good range of Different Beers from Marks Lager :-) to Robust Porters and stouts, to non carbed beers to Gushers !!
Flash gave us some nice samples of a chocolate tequila
I tried the Garnet in Geoffs later - quiet nice - beginning to be able to recogise Amber malt in beers now which is good I guess,
made it home with my hops - thanks Derek, did get some funny looks in Geoffs alright,

stuck up some posters for the competition

oh and it looks like I had a kebab last night too...... ugh

Got back in Saturday evening, after a good few (even ended the evening with a bottle of Hardcore for good measure)
Had a sambo and a cup a tae and pulled out the laptop and the tools, when things were still fresh  ::) in me mind  ;D.

Had her going within 10 minutes, oh yeah you asked HOW, no clue ;D
