Title: Gas QD problem
Post by: Rats on October 23, 2012, 11:18:04 AM
Got a new gas qd yesterday in the post. It's leaking gas.Put some vaseline on the inside poppet and stretch the spring a bit,but nothings working.I changed the poppet with one that I know is working, but still the same.Is there a way of fixing the inside of the qd.
Any idea on this.
Thanks

QuoteNot 100% sure what you're talking about. Is the valve leaking around the poppet, or is it only leaking when the quick disconnect is attached?

It's leaking around the poppet. It's not connected to the keg

It's brand new.Never been used.I changed the poppet from one of the other qd's and still the same.

Seems the problem is on the poppet.Put he new poppet in one of my older qd and it's leaking(problem on the poppet)
