Title: Equipment Advice
Post by: Will_D on January 04, 2013, 02:23:43 PM
As a lot of newcommers are registering and posting here first I thought it would be useful to steer you towards our equipment wiki. Here is a basic run through of equipment and where to get it:

http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/wiki/doku.php?id=equipment_atoz

Hope it helps all our new brewers.

Also remember that if you enter the NHC competition you WILL receive a professional assessment of your beers. This service is offered for the amazing cost of €5 for the first beer aand €1 for subsequent beers. So for a tenner you could get 10 beers assessed for only a tenner!

You may even win as well

Not bad value ehh!

Just a thread bump the Wiki but also to remind you all of the front page of the NHC!

I know first hand that once you get used to using the forum and checking it regularly you forget about what a great resource/asset is here:

Check the left hand column for some great front page info/articles & recipes

As we now 285 members ( rekon about 25 new since last post) I'm just giving this a bump.

"If the first boy went into the shop and paid £5 for the bag of sweets and 9 other boy's went into the other shop and each paid £1 for their sweets, how much money did they pay in total". Me things Will got the stick alot. :D

The entry costs to the competition have changed since last year, so the ones mentioned above are now redundant
