Title: Coopers IPA - kit hack
Post by: oinkely on October 27, 2015, 10:18:15 AM
Got my second STC1000 wired up yesterday afternoon so stuck together an IPA hack.

Coopers IPA kit
1.5KG DME boiled in 3 Litres of water with 35 gms Fuggles for 15 minutes.
200gm Carapils steeped in 2 Litres of water
topped up to 23 Litres
Pitched coopers kit yeast

OG read 1.044 (I think) at 20 degrees

Planning on dry hopping with another 20g of fuggles after the fermentation has died down a bit

That's two brews for Christmas underway

Sounds good. Could probably do with a little more dryhop if you have it ;)
