Title: Help with co2 fittings

could someone please help me with a problem i am having,
i have two pub co2/nitrogen tanks which i got filled in doyle & doyle. my gas regulator is a co2 and both fillings are female, i need a male part to go between the co2 regulator and the gas bottle. has any member had this problem, or can anyone tell me where i can get the fitting.

I'm surprised that D&D filled a mixed gas bottle for you!

However if they did then either you need a regulator to fit the bottle ( Argon or mixed gas welding reg - available on tinternet from about €30 ) or an adapter to convert the mixed gas bottle ( fitted with a female POL thread fittitting ) to a male CO2 bottle. I posted a link to a UK welding equip supplier that had the converters for either way!

thanks will, i will have a look and check it out, yes they filled the two bottles no problem, i found them very helpfull, but lets see if i can get the fitting now

ok will i think i know what i need and i will order tomorrow.


1 x CO2 gas regulator to Argon gas bottle adaptor
1 x
Argon or Argon Co2 Mix Welding Gas Regulator



Regulator suitable for Mig or Tig Welding



Inlet - Standard 5/8 BSP Right Hand Thread



Outlet - Standard 3/8 BSP Right Hand Thread



Left Gauge Shows the Cylinder Contents



Right Gauge Shows Regulator Output 0-30 LPM
