Title: Berlin Beer/food recomendations
Post by: Frequent Sequence on December 13, 2015, 11:56:59 PM
How ye? I'm in Berlin at the moment and I'm looking for some first hand tips on nice beer and or food spots.
I'm loving it so far but the tips would be great. Prost!

Try Berliner Republic, at night. Food isn't brilliant (it's passable) but they do, what I can only describe as a beer stock exchange after 1900 which is a novelty if nothing else, and they have a decent selection.

Generator hostel in the city centre has a good selection of local crafts. I'm trying to get in touch with a mate I was with last time I was there to get you the name of a funky wee beer house just off the s-bahn

They also have house of 1000 beers which does food and has well a lot of varieties of beer, there's not much of an atmosphere in there though.

Berlin has the highest amount of Irish bars outside of Ireland per capita in the world.

Edit: hackecher market, down the side of it is a small microbrewer/beer house.
