Title: [Review] Milestone Donner and Blitzed
Post by: Drzava on December 17, 2015, 01:28:57 PM
My first Milestone kit - they're produced by Muntons and very similar to the Muntons Gold range in terms of packaging etc, except they come with Gervin GV12 yeast. OG 1.045, FG 1.012 after 13 days, bottled three days later. About 4.5% ABV in the bottle. This has really surprised me - I wasn't expecting much frankly, but after only two weeks in the bottle this is actually a delicious, deep golden ale with a lovely toffee taste.

Far too lazy too meddle (although I did immediately reuse the yeast for my extract IPA)! Straight kit, 19 - 20C for 16 days.
