Title: Heineken tap question
Post by: Chris on December 17, 2015, 06:31:37 PM
Hi guys I got this tap was wondering what the connections marked in and out are for. Also do I need some kind of transformer for the electrical connection?(http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/17/f5786f7ca0391aa67b1108d5a3c60f19.jpg)(http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/17/573f8750b60ca58084726a74c9e70f4c.jpg)

Is it for coolant lines?, a lot of the Heineken ones are the ice cold, but that one doesn't look like one.

I'd guess they're for the water that gets pumped around the tower to cool it and create the condensation effect on it.

Could it be for glycol?

Am sure that if there are 3 connections:

In/Out would be for the glycol cooling loop(at the taps these are 3/8" lines. They are often dropped off 1/2 pyhon glycol lines). These feed into a big brass block where the tap is screwed into.

The beer line for Heino is usually 5/16!

As regards the voltage of the bulb just whip it outr and it should be stamped with a voltage and wattage.

You may need a magnifying glass if you are as old as me!
