Also, can someone add me into the Liffey brewers watsapp group. I was added before but a day later my watsapp had to be deleted but a restore didn't add the group back.🤔
what % smoked malt did you use in you rauchbier? I used 33% and i'm underwhelmed
I used 60%. I think I have a nice balance. Mine is a bit dark, but according to beersmith I'm within the style guidelines though, although at the very edge of the dark side of the range.
Actually - just checked the recipe on beersmith - it was 67.8% smoked malt.

Jesus that's some list of beers :o
I'm not able to make the last Thursday of the month until June :-\
I should also have a golden ale I brewed along for the craic. I'll enter it in the competition, though I don't expect much from it due to cloudiness.
Can I bring my competition bottles for submission? Garret, I think you are a drop point.

Hi, just started brewing at Christmas, have a very plain and kind of weak bitter. Ok if I drop by to the Lucan County this evening?

Hi Dylan. You're very welcome to come along. We'll be easy to spot with a whole load of unlabelled bottles on the table.
Great thanks, was thinking of bringing about 6 bottles, is that too much or too little?
A 500ml bottle is usually fine
Thanks again lads, great evening and very enlightening!
Some great beers on show last night and good to see some new brewer's.
The future is bright for the Liffey Brewers.
Yip. Think we had some really good beers last night. There's definitely a bunch of medals there. The standard of beers being brewed by the Liffey brewers is excellent now so we're doing something right.
Special thanks to our super host in the Lucan County. We were very well looked after. Thanks to Gerry.

I'm sure it always was
Always some good beer mixed in with some not so good. There is a notable improvement in the quality though in terms of how rarely a poor beer makes an appearance.
Some of the recent recruits have started at a really good standard. That's probably echoed across clubs too as people have access to better kit, ingredient and information.
Yep the coffee and ginger stout was a beer that really stood out last night... Fantastic beer
I preferred the straight stout. Thought it was one of the nicest dry stouts I've had.
Coffee and ginger was really nice
Cheers lads. I was very happy with the coffee and ginger alright.
