The first leg of the National Brewing Championships is on in Belfast on the Ormeau Road on Saturday 20th February.
If getting the train, the option would be the 7.35am from Dublin Connolly which would get you into Belfast Central for 9.45am. Brewbot is then a 8min taxi journey. The return journeys are then 6.05pm or 9.15pm. You might be pushing it to get the 6.05pm however. Plus sides are it's comfy and there are toilets onboard. €30 return online.
Other options would be to get the 7.00am from Busaras via Bus Eireann or the 7.30am Aircoach. Plenty of return times available all evening but no toilets on the buses. €24(roughly)
Lastly, we have the option of hiring a coach for the day if there's enough interest. We're currently sourcing a price on this. This would leave Dublin and go directly to Brewbot. If people are travelling up to Belfast could they please indicate in this thread how they would prefer to travel/if they would like an NHC coach to run. :)

It's looking like demand is going to be a bit too low to make this feasible. If people want to coordinate transport up though the NHC could sort taxis out to BrewBot from the bus/train station as it's a bit of a walk otherwise.

Trying to round up a few bodies from capital to head up, might use public bus but if the numbers added up wonder could this idea be revived (eg the names down on the list still interested?)
