Title: Free broken 2 line chiller
Post by: Shanna on January 23, 2016, 09:58:54 AM
Hi there,

I have an old two line chiller that I got a while back that has never worked. I am going to throw it out soon as its taking up space. I thought I would offer it up here first as there maybe somebody with technical expertise that could ressurect it. The unit powers up.and runs but does not chill.

Any takers send me a PM.

Regards,

Shanna

depends wat sort of gas. Should be written on it. Most likely type 134a. old type. many fridge engineers would have it.
R u sure the compressor is runnin? sometimes the loud rattly fans make it sound like the compressor

a gas top up would ciost a fiver worth of refrigerant and 5 minutes work. most would charge 50 euros or so. bit or a rip off but very few people are set up for regassing as we live in a replacement world rather than a repair world!

Could not be sure been whether it's the fans or the compressor. Might open it up & take a look. Beginning to sound like it's for the dump.
