Title: Hi
Post by: Ryan on January 24, 2016, 08:41:47 PM
New brewer here from just outside belfast., got a brooklyn brew kit in october and it spiraled from there to a 5 gallon setup. On brew no: 4 now and getting into the swing of things.  last brew (brewdog punk ipa clone) went pretty well and everyone loved it (apart from one guy who thinks coors light is a great beer)  brew 4 going for a bang in the middle ipa ,50ish ibu ,6ish % and super hoppy.

Called into brewbot in belfast and was told about the competition but to late to enter so i'll have to wait another time but happy enough to have stumbled into the forums.   Need a 33l stainless pot as my peco boiler is leaking ever so slightly and well i want a stainless one really.

Welcome Ryan! Can't beat a punk clone - what recipe did you clone (Nelson Savin based or Ahtanum/Amarillo)?

Welcome Ryan! Hard to beat a Punk IPA clone.

Shame you missed entering the comp but we're looking for stewards to help out on the day if you fancy it. It just involves bringing beer to the judges and getting the odd sample. Plus you'll get fed and watered.  :)

Well Ryan! You should come along to the Belfast Homebrewers meet on 4th Feb! It's a good way to learn from others and even sample other members brews. Check out our section of the forum. Hope to see you there.
