Title: Brewpi Order
Post by: dcalnan on January 28, 2016, 07:41:59 PM
I'm planning on ordering an element enclosure (https://store.brewpi.com/featured/heating-element-enclosure-kit) and maybe the whirlpool arm (https://store.brewpi.com/mashing/kettle-inlets-outlets/weldless-whirlpool-kettle-inlet-kit-npt) from them, so if anyone wants to get a few things from them let me know and we can share the shipping costs. I'm planning on putting in the order Sunday night.

Overpriced?

Some of it might be a bit more expensive but I looked at making an element enclose like the one used in the electric brewery, and was costing roughly the same, brewhardware.com (where I'm getting the element from) has an enclosure for $20 but it didn't look as sturdy as the brewpi one. For most 1/2 fittings I've gotten them from the homebrew company but for specialised parts the brewpi ones look the business.

That enclosure looks nice alright.

I've gotten a lot of my gear there. When you factor in costs vs brewhardware and also look at the quality of the components, the prices are pretty OK. Don't forget about VAT though. It gets added right at the end!
