Title: How do people pull samples from a keg
Post by: molc on March 14, 2016, 08:29:48 AM
You'd think I'd have figured this out by now. How do people usually pull a single pint from a keg that's not used frequently? Planning on storing barley wine in kegs but I don't want to hook it up to the kegerator.

I have a pet carbonation cap on some 5/16" line that I use to pull samples, but the cleaning is a pain just for one pint.

Ideally you want to hook it to a tap.
Have you a picnic Tap?

Have a picnic tap but it always seems to leak when I use it, so gave up on it. :)

got a couple of these for 25 bucks in the US, handy for parties too.
Release gas for serving pressure back up for storage
