Thanks shiny, I only need a 1 litre for yeast starters. How much for the 3l ?

Where do you live? I just built a stir plate and I'd like to test it.
Swap you some 2 litre growlers if your interested. Or some bottles

1 litre is too small for starters and wait until you boil your first, why I have 5l

Bought a 5L and it's miles too big for my stir plate. Wish I got a 3L instead.

I have a 3 stirplates, one is small from the US and it balances on them all how small is yours

It's not the size of your flask, it's how you use it 😂

If it was square, my flask would fit no problem, but my flasks bottom has a sight slight concave that makes balancing on the stir plate very difficult. Probably gonna build another wider stir plate since it's not that difficult.

I find the small ones handy for building up old/expired liquid yeast. I got some from geterbrewed recently and they're nice. Stir bars are easy to get from eBay, I got some from my local chemical suplly place but they don't like dealing in small purchases.
